Lorain County Sheriff Jack Hall sets the record straight on federal deportations and local law enforcement cooperation
Lorain County (OH) Sheriff Jack Hall was featured in a local newspaper that characterized him as being unwilling to help Tom Homan and ICE in their efforts to arrest and deport illegal aliens by honoring detainers and holding illegals for the feds to pick up. The newspaper quoted Hall as saying he did not want to help the feds because of the costs associated with the efforts which could impact Lorain County residents. As usual, the typically left wing newspaper left out a slew of important details and context. Sheriff Hall joined us on Monday morning to clarify his position and the reality of of local enforcement of federal efforts.
