FOP President sounds alarm: Communities will suffer if qualified immunity ends

A radical group called “Ohio Coalition to End Qualified Immunity” has had their ballot language confirmed and is now in the process of collecting signatures for a ballot initiative in November. An end to qualified immunity will lead to an end to proactive policing, with officers afraid to protect and serve if it means putting their house and families in jeopardy. The ramifications are much for far-reaching than most people realize. FOP President Jay McDonald educates us on the matter, and asks that you refuse to sign any petition that will put this train wreck of an initiative on the ballot and potentially into the state Constitution.
