Former astronaut and NASA researcher reveals agency’s decline amid culture and priority shift

Dr. Charles Camarda spent roughly 45 years working for and with NASA as a researcher and as an astronaut. His new book, “Mission: Out of Control” details the massive problems with what was once the gold standard among space agencies in the world. We are not only losing the space race to return to the moon, but NASA is losing to private space exploration companies like SpaceX.  The fact that Elon Musk had a rocket that was able to return stranded astronauts from the International Space Station when NASA could not speaks volumes. So does Dr. Camarda.
