Trump reveals tariff rates for all countries with tariffs on US goods
President Trump’s reciprocal tariffs are a long-overdue step toward leveling the global trade playing field, ensuring American manufacturing and jobs thrive for generations to come. By imposing tariffs on all nations that charge duties on U.S. imports, set at half the rate they impose on us, such as 34% on China (down from their 68%) and 20% on the EU (down from their 40%), President Trump is sending a clear message: America will no longer tolerate unfair trade practices that have hollowed out our industrial base.

These tariffs, while sparking short-term concerns about inflation, are poised to revitalize domestic production by incentivizing companies to source and manufacture in the U.S., reducing the $1 trillion trade deficit in goods reported in 2024.
Over the long term, this policy will create millions of well-paying manufacturing jobs, particularly in sectors like steel and automotive, as businesses reshore operations to avoid import costs.
